Predictions: 12/3/2010

December 3, 2010

Here’s my thoughts on tonight’s action:

New Jersey at Charlotte – Stephen Jackson is back in the lineup for the Bobcats and will definitely make an impact. Nets will continue to miss Terrence Williams. NJ 89 CHA 97

Oklahoma City at Toronto – I remember in the offseason when it was whispers about Kevin Durant being the best player in the league, but he’s not even the best player on his team anymore. Russell Westbrook has been putting on a show. Expect the Thunder to storm up Toronto. OKC 112 TOR 99

Portland at Washington – Blazers final game in their east coast roadtrip should be an easy one. Wizards have yet to find a force on the wing and a consistent down low presence. POR 104 WSH 88

Philadelphia at Atlanta
– No more Joe Johnson. No problem for the Hawks. Expect Jamal Crawford to shoot and shoot frequently. PHI 92 ATL 105

Orlando at Detroit – Dwight and company are in the motor city and will run through Pistons. Hopefully, Charlie Villanueva doesn’t become cancerous. ORL 121 DET 92

Chicago at Boston
– Marquee matchup of the night. Two east coast powerhouses. Rondo vs. Rose. Give me the Bulls in a shocker. Noah vs. Garnett will be another matchup to watch. Taj Gibson will be the ex-factor. CHI 99 BOS 95

Houston at Memphis
– Grizzlies are one of the most exciting teams to watch and now with Mayo coming off the bench they have a more balanced attack. HOU 105 MEM 112

New York at New Orleans – Chris Paul gets an in-person interview with the Knicks. Been a great general all year. NY 107 NO 111

Minnesota at San Antonio
– Wow have times changed. In the early 2000’s this would be a marquee matchup. Love and Beasley will continue their tear, but the Spurs are too powerful on the wing. MIN 85 SA 103

Los Angeles (C) at Denver – Blake takes his show on the road to Denver. Clippers are still too young, but very hungry. Nuggets have a lot of firepower. Watch out for JR Smith. LAC 110 DEN 120

Indiana at Phoenix – Pacers are underrated and have been a tough out all year. Expect a shootout in the desert. IND 113 PHO 111

Dallas at Utah
– Great game slated for two of the West’s premiere teams. Mavericks have been hitting on all cylinders and expect it to continue tonight. Derron Williams will have a monster game in the process though. DAL 105 UTA 100

Sacramento at Los Angeles (L)
– Lakers are on a four game skid. First time since 2007. I can see Lakers coming out sending a message. Hopefully Pau’s hamstring is fine. SAC 95 LAL 102
