Prediction: 12/17/2010

December 17, 2010

Here’s my thoughts on tonight’s games:

Cleveland at Indiana – Both teams are in a slump. Pacers have smaller problems than the Cavs. Expect Granger, Collison and Rush to play hard. CLE 88 IND 100

Miami at New York – The rivalry tries to restore itself. The Knicks are back but the high-powered offense will succumb to another high-powered offense. LeBron, Wade & Bosh will run and gun them to death. Amar’e will fill up the stat sheet though. MIA 125 NYK 117

Los Angeles (L) at Philadelphia – Kobe comes home. Bynum is back and trying to find his niche. On the other hand, the Sixers have been playing great basketball as of late. Shocker! Sixers take down Bean. LAL 92 PHI 95

New Jersey at Toronto – A lot of young players being featured in this game. Lopez, Favors, DeRozan, Davis, etc. I wish this game was being played in 2013. Oh well. NJ 87 TOR 91

Charlotte at Atlanta – Hawks have been feeling the woes since Joe Johnson went down. However, the Bobcats are mentally damaged by the trade rumors this team is in disarray. Atlanta bounces back. CHA 104 ATL 110

Los Angeles (C) at Detroit – My favorite team watch plays my favorite team NOT to watch. Tough. Blake show is about to shatter Motown and Clips gain their first road win of the year. LAC 106 DET 84

Utah at New Orleans – Hornets haven’t been good as of late. Jazz are tough at home. Deron outduels Chris. UTA 99 NO 90

Sacramento at Oklahoma City – Best home crowd in the league hosts one of the youngest teams. Even with Tyreke Evans, this game would be a blowout. Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant show out, all the way. SAC 85 OKC 110

Memphis at Houston – The Rockets are trying to turn it around and have played swell at home. Grizzlies have yet to find their way while away from Memphis. However, Rudy leads the way. MEM 107 HOU 94

Phoenix at Dallas – The Mavericks are for real and Dirk is playing at an MVP level. Nash and company can’t find their way and won’t tonight. Expect Mavericks to win convincingly. PHX 105 DAL 117

Minnesota at Portland Blazers backcourt issues will continue. Too bad the Timberwolves don’t have the most impressive backcourt. Love and Beasley will do their numbers, but it won’t be enough. MIN 90 POR 101
